We visited for an open weekend. My daughter loved having the opportunity to try yachting (more than once) and wants to come back. The staff seemed really nice and knowledgeable and the yachts they got to use were great.

Waveny and oulton broad yacht club and surrounding areas are a great place to visit, walk around the lovely Nickalas Everrit park or take a look at the yacht racing on a Saturday afternoon between 2pm and 5pm or Sunday between 10-15am to approximately 1pm During the summer months there is yacht racing on a Wednesday evening and power boat racing on a Thursday evening. Waveny sailability enables those with varying levels of disabilities to get on the water with qualified instruction which can get themselves to a level where they can sail on their own, should they wish to. Waveney Sailability operates between April and October 12-30pm to 4-30pm every Tuesday with various functions throughout the season. Something of interest can be found on oulton broad, day boat hire as well as Cruiser hire for your holidays on the water. Something for everyone.
Amazing club down there friendly people just sign up and you can sail one of there club boast they have there. these are just some of them [RS Terra'RS Feva, Toppers, Lazers. the terras have pro rigs and race rigs if you want a change. the club is a nice layout hoping to change it and have a a whole new revamp you can have a seat and just watch the boats or go for a walk around the park. at the club they meet down on a Saturday and Sunday for races or just a sail they have qualified powerboat trained rescue team with fast ribs so no need to be worried if you fall in. they also have a summer race called oulton week were lots of people from around Suffolk and sometimes Norfolk have a great big race day if you search up Broads Drone on YouTube he has footage of oulton week 2017 and 15,14
