I just had a root canal done along with some cavities filled. Prior to my appointment i was a nervous wreck. After I got into the room the dentist and his assistant quickly made me comfortable and calmer then when i arrived. By the time I left the office all my nerves about my upcoming appointments and todays appointments. Thank you very much to everyone that had a part in my appointment today. My anxiety regarding the dentist has decreased dramatically after my visit today.

I am patient at Wilson Dental Waverly. I was most recently there on 12/1/2020. I have read all the negative comments regarding this practice and honestly that was not my experience. They were completely Covid safety compliant. The front reception staff was extremely nice, personable, and professional. I did not have a long wait and the dental assistant or hygienist who roomed me and took X-rays was cautious, professional, and personable. The dentist did an excellent job filling my cavity. He numbed the area and I had no pain during procedure. I have noticed during all my visits that he is very blunt in his instruction and communication to staff and patients. I do not see this as a negative thing, it’s just his demeanor. He does a great job so I don’t find it necessary for him to have to placate me with niceties. I was thankful to have access to dental care and that he took the procedure he was doing seriously and did a good job.

So my FIRST appointment was at 9:15, I showed up at 8:50... it’s 9:30. The door says call office due to covid. Phone says office is closed... I called five times and left a message... nothing. Not a single person. I also rang the door bells. Place is a joke. AWESOME first impression.

Friendly staff in reception, the dentist himself is a little mean. The dentist does great work tho, he did my root canal and I had no issues with it at all. Some of the staff seem like they hate their jobs they are direct and to the point not really personable. I also showed up on Veterans Day because I had a scheduled appointment at 8am don’t know if it was an accident or not but the office remained closed until I left at 8:30am. It sucked because I drove 45 mins to get there and didn’t end up having my appointment. Edit: they did call me back after my appointment didn’t work out and I got everything sorted out the woman on the phone was super nice and super understanding and she seemed like she was trying to do everything in her power to make sure I had these appointments all lined up

Excellent care As a new patient I wasn't sure what to expect. I was able to get in on a cancellation and not have to wait, so that was a big help. Excellent hygienist! Intelligent, personable people. Common sense. Patient. Explained everything very well. Glad I am able to go here. And they too my insurance - everything was covered.

The staff was pleasant. Than I met the DENTIST with a rush card...I understand the pandemic is stressful, but it should be at the interest of any business right now to get new and existing clients comfortable at their visit to a doctors office. This dentist did quite the opposite. I felt I was taking up his time and making him uncomfortable for asking about my concerns. He rudely left me speaking to myself and walked out and into the next patients room while I was still in his chair. He didn't want to do the work as he kept avoiding my questions, he acted as if I was making up my concerns, and continued repeating his response with different scenarios not to give me a direct answer, and addressed my insurance as less than for a periodontist service. I was livid and unhappy walking out.
