Dr. Acosta is the top of his field! I'm going to share this so you can rest assured in his chair. Saying this might make him too busy for me if I need him in the future but I'll say it anyway! It was a big tooth, #3 if you speak Dental, AND an anomaly tooth. As he explained it: the nerve in the tooth was BIGGER than nerves usually are. I was getting a little nervous but it was a basic filling and a small cavity. Might I add the cavity was under a metal filling I had done nearly 20 YEARS AGO. It was not a fresh tooth. Dr. Acosta GOT THE JOB DONE! PAIN-FREE! As he explained it, the hard part is the shot, not the work. Wherever you live in the DFW, this is the DENTIST to go to. Arlington, Ft. Worth, Ennis, Plano, Frisco, Hurst, Irving-it is worth a trip to little old Waxahachie for Dr. Acosta! I've been too many dentists and had a lot of dental work done-I can say he is the best dentist in his field. He's actually NICE and NEVER lectures you! Thank you so much for your professionalism and for the service you provide for the community. Others may be cheaper or more expensive but you will feel like it was worth your time to visit Dr. Acosta at Waxahachie Family Dentistry! Now don't take up all the appointments because I still want to get mine ;) Update: There is a downside as I have recently been billed 50.00 for missing an appointment. It was my first offense after 4 years of visiting. I did try to communicate 12 hours ahead of time but it must be 24 hours. Not saying it was wrong or right but there's that.

My experience was great as usual. Everyone is so cordial and that certainly makes a difference. I recommend Family Dentistry to everyone. In fact just let my brother know about them and their location as he is going to have dental work done. Great group.
I’m new to the area and was searching for a good Dental Office. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by the lady in the front and thanked for filling out the new patient forms online! She took my secondary insurance, took my picture and was told to sit in the waiting area and someone will be with me. I’d say about 2 minutes later(wasn’t expecting that..so use to waiting) I was called back by Vanessa. She gave me a detailed tour of the office and talked to me about the Doctors and staff, which by the way is extremely clean. We got seated in the back where she took my X-rays and chatted a little more. They should never replace her, she’s good at what she does!! Next, I went to the room for my cleaning. I can’t remember the lady name for anything(sorry), but she was awesome and Congratulations on your 12 years in April!! She followed all of COVID 19 guidelines by changing her gloves and wiping the area down. She explained EVERYTHING that she was doing and was very friendly. The lady that came in and assisted was pretty cool also. Dr. Todd came in, went over my treatment plan with we and got me scheduled for a consultation. Everyone that I encountered at the office was friendly and professional. They were very thorough and took their time. Whenever my husband and I have kids, Waxahachie Family Dentistry will be their home. I looking for something good and this placed turned out to be GREAT!! My expectations were definitely exceeded!! Also, they have the best goody bag ever. I got me a coffee cup and lip balm...just to name a few:-)
Best dentist office I have been to. Everyone is so friendly and nice. Ashley was such a sweetheart and made me feel so comfortable with the mild anxiety I get being at a dentist office. She was always asking me if I was okay and if I needed anything and put my mind at ease answering all my questions and explained everything to me. Love this place!!
Very impressed with my first visit! All staff are great and friendly. I went with my 15 month old and it went pretty smooth. One of the best dental cleaning I’ve had. Highly recommended.
