This is a fun place for family functions. It has Basketball courts, tennis courts, trails, kids toys, athletic balls, and playground. Also a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms.
In 1978 I used to play with the brick colored blocks there, went back this year (35 years later) saw the same blocks... awesome when you see some obscure toy you never thought about for your whole life again. It's a sort of self affirming moment, a memory you didnt know you had, it's nice, and better when my son started playing with the same blocks.
Reasonable to rent for our function, includes chairs, tables, kitchen, restrooms, space for eating and for sitting together for a service.
This place is amazing you can rent it all day and it cost only 1 per person did my sons birthday party here and they have a full kitchen with 2 big closets of toys pool table air hockey. All the kids had a blast for less than 20
In the small town of Wayne where community means something, they have the Ladd Rec. The Ladd center is one of the best gifts to this small town the kids love it there and it's such a great help for the family's from the community with the after school programs and the summer camp that they have it has been a great deal to my family with the help of child care and my son baseball team for the field use. I do believe that the town would have a harder time with the young ones if the Ladd center wasn't in Wayne!!!
