Such a lovely B&B. Walking distance from shopping and great restaurants. Bob, the owner of the Wayne B&B, was warm and friendly and immediately made us feel at home. Enjoyed our coffee, breakfast and conversation...we'll be back!
My husband and I went to this bed and breakfast and we're very disappointed. When we arrived the place hasn't been kept up in awhile and the inside was very bare and wasn't decorated as in the pictures on the website. Lastly the pool & jacuzzi was closed. I personally chose this bed and breakfast for the amenities which we couldn't use. I thought we would get compensated on something like a partial refund or we would get a full breakfast since we chose a limited breakfast. However, the owner said he felt bad for us but didn't offer anything since we weren't happy about not being able to use the amenities. The owner took my credit card after bringing us to our room then told us that we couldn't use the amenities after the fact. I thought that was very sneaky of him. I feel the least he could of done before booking the room he could of emailed us that the amenities weren't available. This all seemed like a bit of false advertisement since the pictures on the website looks nothing like seeing it in person. We were told that the house was up on the market but didn't sell however, now he changed his mind and is he's now leaving it as a bed & breakfast once again. Maybe in time he'll have everything back to where it use to be but for now if you are interested please ask question before going.
My mother loved staying at this beautiful inn. She does not drive and was able to easily walk to shops and restaurants and to a nearby walking trail. She liked the house, gardens and porch and most of all its convenience to everything in Wayne, including a train station. She could travel by train to Philadelphia and take a local train to a stop that is only a few blocks from the inn.
We stayed 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay very much. Bob and Traudi are wonderful hosts and do their very best to make sure your stay is excellent. It's quiet and peaceful. They have a wonderful small dog who is actually very helpful and friendly. You hardly know she is even there. But she was a wonderful little guide of the grounds and she is very attentive. The room we had was gorgeous with a lovely view of the grounds.
Beautiful historic Inn on the Main Line convenient to Devon and Villanova. Walking distance to the Farmers Market, train and resturants.
My stay at the Wayne Bed and Breakfast was delightful. The Mr. And Ms. Thomason were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The house and grounds are beautiful, my room and en suite bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was healthy, varied and yummy. They really made me feel like they were glad I was their guest. I definitely recommend it and would be happy to return. Kathleen Oakland, California
Had a great experience staying here! It was brief but very relaxing away-from-city experience but close enough to hop a train to head to work the next day. Bob (the host) was very kind and accommodating. I'd recommend this cozy nook to adventurers who want to try something off the beaten path.
