I never received my 1099 (misc) statement for my tax records. It is the payers responsiblity to furnish statements by February 1st. I made multiple request to Smith Accounting Services, and never received any statement! They finally called the 1st week of March... left me a message telling me the amount they filed in my name...pretty lame & unprofessional to say the least. Plus, the total amount was off because they added personal payments that shouldn't be taxed because they were reimbursements for materials that have already been taxed when purchased at store. It isn't income!!
