CLOSED - Idiots booked an appointment with me, even called me to confirm, and then it was closed when I turned up! FURIOUS
Online quote is meaning less. Watford branch appears to be run by muppets. You arrange an appointment only for the person there to have no idea you are arriving. He asks you to wait in you car and he will serve you shortly. In the mean time other people arrive and my MUPPET appears to have forgotten you are there. You remind him you have been waiting he then asks you to wait longer. Drove away in the end. In addition to this he say DO NOT USED THE ONLINE booking system. Not sure why maybe its because the fact he is accountable when on online booking is ignored as it was in mine and other cases. Very poor customer service. As a business owner I would instantly fire employees with such poor customer service. Tempted to sell the car on Ebay and may still do this as I thought We buy any car was supposed to be good. Not so sure now
Good overall but could be better. There was no one outside the office building in Welwyn Garden City where I was meant to drop the car off. No one answered the buzzer and I just happened to bump into the right person as they emerged to talk to a customer. The manager was fine and helpful. There was a negotiation which we settled. I would ask that the company not provide three different quotes for the same car. Having entered detailed information about it at one point, it then completely left all of that information out and generated a new quote.
Obviously you don't get the best price for you car but you don't have to deal with time wasters and insurance worries with people wanting a test drive. They are very well organised and make it a painless experience, even dealing with dvla notification and refund of car tax. Well worth considering as an option when selling your car.
