Spend the extra and go to Fairfield or Cutting Horse. Blah...I feel like I will have bedbug bites in the morning. Also, this pet thing has gotten out of hand. It smells like animal urine and feces in this place. Unacceptable.
I’m on my third evening and I have no complaints. Clean linens, clean dishes and kitchen, and clean restroom. The bed is very comfortable. It has been quiet and the parking lot is safe and well-lit. Staff has been friendly and accommodating. They also have a heated indoor pool, which makes me wish I brought swimming trunks.
Abi was a very welcoming and attentive receptionist! The layout of the room was great. Beds were comfortable and a great choices for pillows. Bathroom was spacious and shower / bath was large with excellent water pressure. Kitchen area was very functional with plenty of plates, cups, cook ware and utensils. Located downstairs was the Candlewood Cupboard, which had a good variety of necessities that you may need while away from home, the Cupboard also had basic food stuffs and different kinds of drinks for those that do not want to leave the premises. All in all, an excellent experience and pleasant place to stay! Thank you, Candlewood Suites Weatherford, Tx!
My family came into town for our wedding and their rooms were not ready. They had dirty sheets on the bed along with dirty towels. The furniture was in terrible condition and the toilets did not flush! This whole process of booking and getting everything ready has been nothing but a headache! I booked with them because they were recommended by our venue and they had a shuttle not worth the money to book with the shuttle go somewhere else!
Relocating to Weatherford, Texas from Washington State. This was the best, most acommodating hotel we stayed it over four days. Clean, free laundry, professional staff, great room with everything you would need to feel comfortable. Great parking for our 26 foot Uhaul and 12 foot trailer. Seemed to be a very safe area. Best thing was they allowed pets. Yes they charged a fee but my pets are worth it. I would recommend Candlewood Suites to anyone coming to Weatherford. I feel like we received our money's worth during our two night stay.
I stayed at the Candlewood on Feb 10th. It was my 4th visit to the location as it is conveniently located next to my office. I paid a full price rate for the room and appropriate accomodations. Unfortunately, this morning, as I was attempting to get ready for the day…… the shower was inoperable. As such, with no other choice, I was forced to take a bath in a tub that hardly accommodated my frame. As the tub filled with water, I could feel the slime and gunk coming from the tub floor. The tub was not appropriately cleaned and certainly did not appear to be consistent with Covid guidelines. Once the ordeal ended, I attempted to blow dry my hair and the dryer was also inoperable. The experience absolutely ruined my morning and made me late for work. I relayed my experience in detail to the Candlewood Manager who offered to refund 20 off the bill. This offer was not only insult, but an absolute slap in the face. I would have assumed that Candlewood would have made a more realistic attempt at correcting this unfortunate situation. I will not be returning to the chain and hope this will serve as a warning to other potential customers.
We were told if we checked out early our money would be refunded. They refused to give us what is owed to us. The rooms are overpriced and the pet fee is ridiculous. If I could give zero stars I would. I would not recommend this hotel mainly because of the poor communication and lack of consideration to the patron's.
