I needed to get a car looked at that I was buying. Under the hood, put it on a lift and inspect the undercarriage, and basically give it a good going over. I was calling around and found Gilchrist Automotive and ask for the service manager and found Larry Dixon. He took the bull by the horns and took care of me with detailed pictures showing me the car was nothing but lipstick on a pig. Larry saved me 25 thousand and did this as a courtesy at no charge. I also called Jerry Durant Auto Group and they were to busy to help me and wanted 236 dollars.....WOW..... I just wanted to let people know the service I received was nothing short of 2 thumbs up from Gilchrist Automotive & finding people who care is rare now & they are a great bunch of people.

My husband recently found a very nice truck online to purchase. We’ve been through the process before where we sit for hours on end (seems like a whole day’s ordeal) at other dealers to get approved and financed for the vehicle we would like to purchase. That was not the story here. We had a lender immediately, the whole process of negotiating and signing paperwork seemed effortless and took what felt like no time at all. On top of that we had the opportunity for the in-house insurance man, Shane Ellis, to run some quotes on getting our insurance lowered. He walked us through every step of the way and we were able to save not only on vehicle insurance but homeowners as well. We were very pleased with our experience.
