My husband took our daughter here to get some dental work done. He nor I were told prior to her appointment that he was not allowed to be in the room with her during her procedure. That was a hard NO for this momma! I am not okay with that. He was told this is typical protocol because “the children do better”. That could be typical protocol, this is our oldest child and her first dental procedure. However, I was highly upset we were not advised of this prior to her visit. With everything going on in this crazy world today- I definitely don’t feel comfortable with my 6 year old daughter being half sedated, alone in a room with a grown man. So just a heads up to all you parents, ask the protocol on being in the room with your child during their procedure.

While Dr, Blowing is an amazing dentist, his staff ruin his office. This has not been the first time that they have not given us basic human consideration when it come to where we live, and don't care if traffic ties my hands. We travel in from Briar, a 45 minute drive, and his staff love to snidely say that we should be arriving five minutes early than we do, no matter what time we arrive. This time they canceled my child appointment, after calling me to check if I was coming in, five minutes down the road. Not even getting all the way inside the staff tells me they already cancelled our appointment and if we'd like the reschedule. As if! I'm sorry Dr Bowling, we love you and are sorry that your rude staffing has made us look elsewhere for a pediatric dentist.

We chose Lone Star Smiles for a second opinion. So thankful we did! The staff is amazing!!! I wish I’d caught the names of the two wonderful women that took care of us. They were so kind to my little boy & I. They knew my 1.5 year old was nervous and scared, and they did everything they could to assist in helping me keep him comfortable & calm. So appreciative of this office!
