The Animal Control Police Officer came by our house two days ago to pick up two stray dogs that were wondering about 3rd Street in Webb City. The dogs ended up on our front porch. The young dog was a male Yellow Lab mix with beautiful colors so we thought it had some Spaniel mix. The small adult dog was a Yorki mix and was a dark honey color. They stayed on our porch like they new how much I love dogs. I cried later because someone could let these dogs out to fen for themselves. The Lab mix had the most pretty eyes but had fleas and ticks and his gums were pale. I hope they tried to save him. The Yorki had an injured front left leg. I hope they tried to save her too. The officer was very gentle with the dogs and although he was careful not to get bit (because I bet he has been bit before) he was caring. I appreciated that. Thanks.

They killed my boxer dog yesterday because they said he got aggressive. Never has he ever bitten or attacked anyone. My husband was on his way home to get him. Why couldn't you have just watched him since he wasn't hurting anyone? Good question right? Instead they shot him and he died, he was the family dog. Other things should have and could have been done and yes I am making the new, Joplin globe & etc. aware that you killed my dog!!!!!!!
