Bought a strumstick from there for just 40 and it's wonderful, a great price for the thing. The man behind the counter was incredibly polite. I will definitely be making a return trip or two while I'm in town.
This place doesn't know quality merchandise. I brought in a few things and they low-ball the hell out of you. I understand they have a business to run but the prices offered on items are extraordinarily low. They offer cash biased off websites like eBay and craigslist. Well of course those prices are low. I could post a 60 inch TV for a dollar but that doesn't mean that's what it's real value is. With that being said the items being sold should be sold the same way. But its not that way. If it were that way then there wouldn't be such a markup on items. The prices are about three times what you would typically find on those types of websites. Places like this hopefully will go out of business. By the way I know I don't have to go there and I will no longer waste my time with this place or any other of its type. I will advise anyone who asks me were to go to buy stuff to avoid this place at all cost and I will do so by any means necessary.
Excellent place to purchase used items and to sell unwanted items for a reasonable rate (hello you are not going to get more than 1/2 of new or what the going rate is for a used item is). I have purchased thing from used camera gear to Victorinox Swiss army knives, video games and tools. The owner is a friendly, personable gentleman who knows what he's talking about and when he's unsure he will be honest with you. I will continue to do business here for a long time.
Best deals on Monroe ave maybe even best in upstate. Always knowledgeable about electronics and will work with you about trading or just selling. Best pawn shop around hands down.
I've been going here for years best place I've been, to all the people with negative comments you might just be a worthless crybaby. I've never had any problems with this place, now mr deals has sold multiple items that were broken, speakers, games with cracks in the CD etc. so I will assume most of you negative people are just buddies of the other pawn store bottom line get good chumps.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ! At all costs don't try to sell anything to them. The fat white guy with the beard doesn't know how to wash his self properly and insists on being rude and swearing at customers and belittling what they're trying to present to him. He claims he will try to work within means and be as reasonable as possible when deciding how much to buy things for but instead will disrespect you to the fullest degree and have a very unprofessional rebuttal to give when a customers comes forth and says something. I didn't feel a warm welcome when I came in and left with a bad feeling. Your best bet is to try the place a couple doors down the street. They were very professional and gave a good impression for excellent customer service.
