We love the apple mill! They have the best cider and apple cider fry cakes, and a large variety of apples, along with gifts for grownups and kids, honeys and jams, baked goods, cheese, and holiday decor, plus a tasting room for hard cider. There's spices, teas, bulk candies or snacks, and you can even ship apples! You can also visit Morning, the bunny! It's a wonderful place to support and visit and if you go often enough, they feel like family. I especially love to visit on weekdays on 'off' times of year when it's not busy! Also, you can watch cider being made if you catch it at the right time! This is a place everyone should frequent. :-)

Schutt's is my favorite mill/market on the east side of Rochester. They're open all year, and their cider is the best in New York state hands down. Whenever you hear their Russet Cider is coming get there fast! It's simply outstanding! They sell so many varieties of apples from their orchards, as well as seasonal fruits from their orchards across the street. Peaches, raspberries, apples, and in early spring we sometimes get asparagus. The store also features a hard cider distillery if that's the correct term, and tasting room, but I'm not sure if that room is open due to COVID. The store also features homemade pies in house, along with fried cakes, and their famous Apple Frost. Also, they are like a small market, selling honey, jams, soup mixes, and similar items, as well as their wonderful Rat Trap Cheese, it's basically a very strong cheddar. They also sell sausages, and Canadian bacon, eggs, I could keep going on. And there is also an area for snacks, spices, teas, household gifts, toys, puzzles and games. And they have a bunny and a beehive. Please check this place out, you won't be disappointed!
I always love coming here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Picked up their Valentine's day flower/fried cakes package w/ some cider and it looks great!
It's a throwback to a country store and carry many of the local brands all in one place. I get my pittsford farms ice cream, my Laura's honey, my local maple syrup and my finger lakes coffee and my baker street bread all under one trip. Same price as the big stores or the source but feel like I'm helping the local economy. And... never forget to grab a 6 pack of their cinnamon and sugar fry cakes! Friendly and top quality.
This place is INCREDIBLE! Watch apple cider get made shop for fun little things. The donuts are insanely good. Pittsford dairy ice cream and milk are phenomenal and and apple coder made from different apples. This place is just a gem and does everything right. Prices are great too!
