Dr. Newman has been my primary care physician for several years, and she’s honestly a great doctor. However, every appointment me or my husband have we never wait for less than an hour in the waiting room. We also have to wait no less than at least a week or two to get an appointment, and they are so unreliable when calling in prescription refills. It takes them up to a week sometimes. I was involved in a car accident and needed to get in with any of the doctors to have 12 stitches removed and they couldn’t get me in for at least two weeks, when the stitches had to be removed way sooner than that. I called to make an appointment five days before they needed removed. So what is the point in having a primary doctor if I can’t make an appointment for emergency or sick situations? And it’s not like I was asking for a same day or next day appointment. They over book and all they care about anymore is money, not their patients. And it’s a shame because the doctors don’t seem to have a say. I have been a patient for years and tried to look past the terrible patient care and customer service from the office side because the doctors truly are decent. But it has just become too much of a constant pain and hassle with them.

Could not agree more with the other reviewers! The only reason I chose this practice is because there is a sleep doctor there who is covered by my insurance. He is great, but the service that you get from his medical assistant is awful. It is like her first day on the job every time that you talk with her. Each time that you call this place, plan on being on hold for a minimum of 15 minutes. There is a recording that says "Your call is important to us", I laugh now every time that I hear the person say this. If my call was important then someone would answer the phone. If you want to actually talk to a person, then you should select "billing" because she is the only one who answers the phone, of course. One day I actually spoke with the office manager after being transferred many times and expressed my level of frustration at being on hold so long and her response was well "ma'am that's just the way that we do things, there is nothing that I can do about that". Really, I thought she was the Office Manager, who managed things. While on hold, they advertise online appointments with zocdocs on their website. Well if you go there not all of the doctors are even listed so you cannot make appointments online like they advertise. I am sure that the other actual medical professionals here are great also, but they need to really take a look at these reviews and expect more from the people who are working for them. This place is a mess and has the most awful customer service. Now that I have been here, I will never choose another doctor at this practice!

Greetings all. I would have given them no star if it had been an option. The front office over charge the patients and when you need to resolve the billing issue with the Billing department they are not easily reachable. I have been over charged for my visit and when I tried to obtain a refund (after staying on the phone for over 30 minutes) I was told I needed to wait two weeks and submit my request again. My second attempt to resolve this issue ended with I going to their billing office in person. I wasted half a day to accomplish something that should not have happened. I have switched to another medical center.

This place has a bad habit of overcharging. I went in for an appointment back in April 2018, was overcharged nearly 100, and am STILL trying to get that money back. The accounts/billing department I was given a number for will NOT call me back. I continue to call and leave messages for Sonia(Sonya?), I have tried emailing them, and they just do not respond. I was seeing 2 doctors at this place, but both of them left (gee I wonder why).

My doctor is the most compassionate doctor I know. She truly cares for her patients. The staff are always loving and helpful. I haven't had one bad day since I started there. Everyone seen to have a caring heart for the patients.

I went to Dr. Caryl Guillermo for the first time and I have never been to a Dr. That went over everything so thoroughly and did not rush or skip over anything. She is so friendly and bubbly you just automatically feel comfortable talking with her! I can not say enough about her. I have been to a lot of Drs in my 61 years and she is by far my favorite! Thanks Dr. Caryl!

I see Dr. Cooke she is really good. The only complaint I have is you can't get but one thing see at a time. It's like if you break two limbs she'll only see you for one of them, then you'd have to go back later for the other. I live over an hr away. It would be nice if I could get things done in 1 visit.

If I could give them less than one star - I would. The only polite person I came into contact with was the receptionist on the fourth floor. I wish I remembered her name - because she deserves a shout out for staying so positive in that place. I called to set up a new patient appointment and was told there was an opening with Dr. Turner. I arrived 30 minutes early as requested to fill out new patient paperwork. I was not called back by the nurse until nearly 45 minutes after my appointment time. When reviewing my current symptoms she scoffed and asked "...are you really feeling all of this right now?" and then moved onto the next page - overlooking multiple symptoms I came in to discuss. NEARLY ANOTHER HOUR LATER, Dr. Turner finally graced me with his wonderful presence...for about 2 minutes. He gave no diagnosis... no suggestions... no input whatsoever, just simply said, "He can refer me to another doctor". If he was unable to speak with me about my current situation, I can't quite understand why this wasn't something they could tell me over the phone. It's not like I requested him, I was told he had an opening, so I assumed he could handle the situation. He asked questions and then talked over me as I tried to answer them, and did not even discuss half of the symptoms I have been noticing (surprise surprise, after the nurse didn't enter them into the file...). Honestly, I never write online reviews - but I haven't been able to get past how terrible this place was... I can't believe this man got paid to walk in and spend 2 minutes with me...after I paid so much and wasted 2 hours of my day. If you're a new patient, PLEASE save yourself the trouble and find a different doctor. Also, if you want to just troll and comment something negative back to me... save your time because I don't care. I just think people should know what's going on here.
