It’s apparent that Wedgewood Endontics is intentional about patient comfort during procedures. I actually relaxed and got lost in my thoughts during a root canal. The pain I experienced prior to the root canal is gone, same day. No Tylenol needed. This practice was highly recommended to me and now I know why.

The root canal procedure went very well and the endondontist was great to talk to and an extremely experienced professional. Really took his time to ensure no pain during the procedure and I was comfortable with everything. To this point insurance worked out just as described and there were no extra charges. The negative reviews posted against this buisness simply because the reviewers didn't figure out financials before hand seem very unfair. However, it may help if before any work is done the receptionist once again clarifies the estimated required copay for the procedure. Though for me it still went smoothly. After the procedure I did have some pain, but with just tylenol and advil I feel fine. I would however recommended having someone else to drive you home, especially if driving far. Finally, it would also be appreciated if the office provided more information / a print out on what to do afterwards (e.g. what foods to eat, advising to not eat until numbness goes away, and how often/how much meds to take) but this can all be found online. Overall fantastic experience for a root canal, got me in under 2 weeks, great doctor, definitely would recommend!

Was very impressed with the accuracy..kindness..details that are presented! The receptionist Melissa was so helpful..made me feel at ease..treated me like a good friend..not just another patient. The doctor was so easy to talk to..answered all my questions..was excellent at his work! My first-time here..i would recommend strongly!

Excellent experience. Very accommodating. I had to move my appointment up a few days because my tooth was hurting and they made the change with no issue. I had a root canal, which by the nature of it is not pleasant, but I practically feel asleep 2 times during the procedure. There was no pain, and the dentist took extra time to be sure I was fully numb before starting. Highly recommend to anyone with a little fear about pain at the dentist!

I suppose I don’t understand the negative reviews because Dr. Ettrich and his staff are amazing! I’ve had previous bad experiences with root canals (in Atlanta) and was super-anxious. I was so surprised at how kind, attentive and understanding everyone was today. It ended up being easy peasy and would recommend to anyone! Thank you for making today a life-changer.

I hate going to the dentist and was very nervous for both the consult and then the procedure. Melissa and Dr. Ettrich made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in the door. Melissa greats you by name and with a smile. She is friendly and willing to assist you in whatever way you need. Dr. Ettrich has impeccable bedside manner. He thoroughly explains everything throughout and constantly ensures you are comfortable during the procedure. You don't just feel like another appointment on the schedule here and that is extremely important to me. I am so happy I chose Wedgewood Endodontics and I highly recommend Dr. Ettrich to everyone!

I had a terrible experience with my root canal. They didn't schedule enough time to complete the procedure in the first appointment (over 2 hours long). I had to leave with a half completed procedure and I was in terrible pain. When I returned for the second appointment, they laughed off my pain. I initially believed their excuse that I had long roots that required more time/second appointment until a co-worker told me they did the same thing to her. I'm assuming this is a tactic to get more money from the insurance companies. They complained that the clamp wouldn't stay on my tooth and that my mouth was watering. These are things I have no control over and they should have the experience to resolve instead of complaining through the procedure. A root canal shouldn't take over 4 hours if they have proper equipment and experience. They obviously get clients by referral and I gave the referring dentist my feedback. The only positive was that the receptionist was friendly.
