This was undoubtedly the absolute WORST, most horrid service I have ever experienced in my entire life of travelling and dining all over the world. It is 2020. You are not a Michelin restaurant. If you do not take guests without reservations, put a sign next to the timed car entrances before the lengthy, dangerous road. We drove more than an hour to come here, and we were with two 6 year olds. The restaurant wasn’t full at all, and we begged to pay for food at least just for the two kids - even just a slice of bread!!! Nothing. I cannot believe the service here was so stubborn, heartless, and inhospitable. And what’s more, the waitress was the one of rudest women I’ve ever encountered.

From outside it is beautiful restaurant with incredible views, we stopped for food but left after one drink because the waitress had such a terrible and unfriendly attitude. Edit: I changed my 2 star rating to a 1 star rating as when we paid the waitress said, “You could of told me you want to pay with card, now I have to make 2 trips” (We had already asked to pay with card when we ordered the drinks).

Very good restaurant, it is really worth to get here a lunch or salat when walking around Walensee. The staff was very nice and the quality of food was very good. We arrived 8 minutes after the lunch menu deadline and they didn't offer it, what was a bit disappointing, but after lunch menu was very good as well. The surrounding was beautiful.

Beautiful secluded place with magnificent views and superb food. We stayed with our 1-year old son for two days, and enjoyed it very much. Good base for smaller (or bigger) hikes in the region.

We weren't offered a menu, then waited for 15 minutes and nobody showed up to check whether we want to order anything. Also only five dishes (all cold) on the menu for Sunday afternoon. View is good, but food is what I expected in a restaurant. Also the view is better outside of this place.

Spectacular views but unfriendly service. My 2 friends and I with our 2 toddlers were served our drinks. Although our kids were well behaved, the staff didn't make us feel welcomed with their unfriendly attitude so we decided to leave and have dinner at the restaurant down the road.
