We had an absolutely lovely summer weekend at Hannahoeve. We stayed in one of the Paardenstal apartments. Everything was clean, tidy and perfectly decorated. Each rental has its own private garden/ hang out area and there is access to a riverside fire-pit and swimming area across the road from the property. The kitchen was well stocked with basics needed for cooking, rooms were comfortable and they had fans for each room. We really appreciated the recycling station, fresh flowers and thoughtful extras in the house as well. We brought our own linen and towels, but those could be rented from the property for 10 euro per person, which is really convenient in the time of Covid. There are a few small villages close by with lots of interesting history, including the fort at Uit&Meer and the first castle in the Netherlands. There's also a nature reserve within walking distance that has some beautiful trails. This place is an eco-friendly hidden gem, well worth discovering. The amount of effort, love and care put in to the property by the owners is awesome and has to be seen to be believed, the photos really do not do it justice.

The owner Joy is extremely nice and talented. He built the rooms himself using reclaimed wood, very nice industrial - shabby chic vibe and wonderful private garden to relax. Walls are a bit thin so there is a no noise policy after 22.00.
Top loft. Met sauna en keuken. Wel een steile trap.
Wat een heerlijke plek om een nachtje te mogen verblijven. Allemaal even netjes. Erg vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Absoluut een aanrader! Een plekje waar we hopelijk nog vaker gaan komen.
Mooi en betoverend
