We all love to hate DOT and being inspected. That being said I had a wonderful experience here last week. I had blown off my oil cap pulling a hill and oil coated the passenger side of my truck and trailer. I called around and found a new cap at the Mack dealer in wheeling. However they have a small yard and it was stuffed. They said i could not get my trailer in there. I was trying to get to the TA to drop it and run back. I got pulled in and inspected. I explained to the gentleman there what happen and what i was trying to do. He was very understanding and did not hold it against me. After passing my inspection he was kind enough to let me drop off my trailer and go get the much needed part.
