It's a very low key, super friendly place with low prices and good, honest food. Had the daily menu and was not disappointed. The tables outside are very nicely in the shade.

We've found this restaurant from Google Maps and interested to check in here because of many good reviews. And I've found those many good reviews were right. If you’re looking for a nice and friendly place to have a good discussion and good dinner surrounded by heritage atmosphere, served by a very nice waiter with plenty of good food and good coffee blends, clean toilet and reasonable price, this is it, I would recommend this place to you. Me and my wife had dinner here from around 5pm up until 10pm. We discussed from A to Z, back to A again and to Z again and again..
The best part about this place, besides the fact that it serves the biggest hot chocolate in Weimar, is that it is student friendly. So you don't have to worry that they'll ask you to leave if you start doing your homework there. Also, they have an outdoors seating area.
Always delicious lunch (especially I can recommend fish and last discovering: tomato-apple soup) and cozy artistic atmosphere, inside as well as outside!
It was an excellent experience. It was my second time, coming for the same soup. It is ma favourite.
