Unique location with a world class program. Lichthaus, I love your perfect imperfection!!! If you are in Weimar, take one of the sofas, a drink and have a great time.

Welp I was there with a group of friends but the movie we watched was the worst one I've ever seen! That's the best thing about it. It's so bad that it's real funny to watch

It's a funky arty movie theater in Weimar decorated with movie posters and sofas and soft chairs to sit on. Lights highlighted the partially exposed excavated brick walls. There seemed to be three separate screens. Even had a piano player at the start. You can pick up drinks and snacks there before the show. We saw an award winning Fellini movie with English subtitles.

A little alternative, no popcorn etc. , and the selection of films is a little peculiar. Still a petite place. Also it's quite affordable. (One has to tolerate the spider webs though)
