Probably the only place where you can find alcohol at 4 am in Weimar
It does what it's supposed to be doing: you get very basic drinks and food at a time where nobody else sells it to you. The selection is, of course, very limited especially once you're trying to buy something that's not beer (Whether they have diet Coke, for example, is completely unpredictable) it gets quite simple to choose because you only get one choice. The people that work here are, without exceptions, complete oddballs. Prices are obviously extremely high, but not where you could expect them to be at, unless you're looking to buy wine.
This place is the only one open late. But if you’re not buying beer or non- alcoholic drinks, don’t bother. I’ve been here numerous times. They used to have a good wine selection, but in the last year it’s all horrible. The hard liquor is SOOO overpriced that you’ll need to be desperate to buy it. I’m aware that they offer a sort of “shop” services, like milk, TP, etc.....since I don’t speak German I cannot comment on that. All I know is this is that last resort shop to go to if you’re in dire need. On the up side, the customer service is ok. They’re quiet, don’t ask questions, and just take cash and card. However, being in that position no one could ask for going above and beyond so take it as you will. If you want some beers, Coke’s or and ice cream lay at night I say this is your place otherwise....try and wade it out.
