Freibad is one of my favorite places in Weimar in the summer, it saves you from dying when it’s unbearably hot in the city Great place to spend a day with your family or friends. You can swim, jump from a diving tower, play volleyball or table tennis etc. There are lockers where you can leave your things, toilets and showers on the territory as well as the little cafe. I also like how green the area is. You can choose a nice place under the tree if you don’t like sun very much and enjoy the closeness of the nature!

The pool is clean. In the morning there aren't much people, mostly families. The pool is big enough, hence it's not crowded. The utilities are also clean.

Perfect huge old-school swimming pool with 3-, 5- and 10-meter towers! Lot of space to relax on the grass, and relatively cheap snacks. Simple is good. You don't need whirpools and ten slides to have fun.
