Hired from Keddy. Returned the car, dropped keys back to reception. She had no time to inspect my car as “too busy” and was putting up a “back in 30 minutes sign”. Two days later get an email charging for damage. (Why not a phone call that day?). 1cm scratch on front bumper. Just got an invoice today for 550. Assessor said it could take up to 2 days to fix. What a joke. They will just throw a little bit of touch up paint on it. NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! This matter will be taken to The Disputes Tribunal. This is absolute fraud.

I hired a rental car from Europcar @ Wellington Domestic Airport. I booked a 12 seater mini bus. But our number of guests have decreased because their schedule change. I called early in the morning and requested to change to a smaller car. The receptionist told see that he will see what he can do. I got a brand new Carnival in the afternoon when I picked it up. This is really nice. I do not have to drive a super big car and risked on a city that I do not live in. Thank you very much! This is a very pleasant experience with Europ car. I returned the car in one piece not scrach and full tank. My deposit was returned to me in a few days.

Absolute Rubbish. Went to the counter and was faced with a back in 30 minutes sign despite clearly stating that I would be there at pick up time. I looked at the paperwork at the kiosk and my name and arrival time was on the running sheet. Waited for 45 minutes and no one turned up, tried calling Europcar and got a call center in another country and they couldn't track down the staff. Got so fed up I went to ezi car rental and rented a car straight away. I left a note for Europcar on their kiosk window of which I was not even given the courtesy of a call. The staff member at Europcar Wellington an noon on the 1st May 2020 should be sacked. Tip do not rent here but go to Ezi Car Rental.

Booked one type of vehicle and ended up getting a completely different one and the charges aren't exactly what they say they are. I was given a total of 244 and paid 110 on the day of the booking. Then I was sent few notifications saying I only have to pay 134 on the day of pick up, but ended up paying 300 plus!!! Inaccurate information provided regarding the charges, and the explanations aren't the greatest either. Please be aware that the charges they show are only a fraction of what their "actual" charges are! Will never ever use these guys again...complete waste of money.

Very easy and professional to deal with. Team member who served me was Abdul Mateen. Super happy with the service received. Highly recommended

Second time dealing with this team and like the first, terrible customer service. The car I booked was damaged from the last customer, all I got was "we hope you find another way there". No alternatives, no replacement car, nothing! Thanks for nothing Europcar, would give zero stars if possible.

Cancelled last minute after I got all the way to the airport, total lack of communication at all stages of the booking. Absolutely shameful.
