Went for a casual ride last year, the horses were well behaved aside from constantly wanting to much on the grass at every brief stop. We were guided along the road until we got to a clearing where we could have a canter. It was a nice ride, however a lot of road work so not much time for much other than walking - I could feel the horse I had really wanted to stretch its legs! Was a nice casual ride and horses seemed well looked after and happy and staff were friendly.
What a wonderful place. I wasn't keen on horses until I was asked to go here, to lead my young Great Niece on a walk. Fabulous cafe, fabulous staff, fabulous facilities and fabulous animals. It was so relaxed and everyone had time for everyone else. Couldn't of had a better time.
There was four of us for clay shooting and we all really had a great time, the two hours (or thereabouts) just flew past and two weeks later we are still talking about it, we were made very welcome and the two instructors couldn't do enough for us were very informative and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend. The cafe in the trekking centre was nice too.
The horses and staffs are friendly. Cafe serves good food. Play area and farm animals are in one place. Mum could have hair solon in the centre. Prices are reasonable. One word - excellent!
