Called to book a ride to the airport, was told that the time and date I needed was available and that I would receive a confirmation email shortly. Never received an email, contacted them the next day to inquire about not receiving confirmation. They then told me they had no booking for me and that they were all booked up.
I can not recommend By The Sea Livery. After the owner, Shaun, confirmed my transportation to Logan Airport, he cancelled at 10pm Saturday night before my early morning pick-up in Ogunquit. As I was unable to find an alternative in such short notice, I was forced to rebook my flight for the next day and was required to pay additional airfare. The next day Shaun contacted me and apologized, and offered to take me the next morning for my rebooked flight. He further tried to explain his reason for not picking me up. I agreed to let him take me that next morning. At about 10pm that night Shaun emailed me confirming my pickup for the next morning. To say that I was shocked when he no showed is putting it mildly. Since I was booked on an international flight, I had a very short window to try and find alternative transportation at 5am. Again, I was forced to rebook another flight for later that day, at again, an additional cost. After finding a friend to take me to C&J in Portsmouth, I was able to bus to Logan. After a month of no communication with Shaun, he emailed me to again apologize and offer to pay my added costs which totaled less than 300. I emailed him copies of the two United Airline receipts with information on how to send me the money. His response was he wanted me to send him an invoice!!! And also that he was unwilling to send the money thru Zelle as I am out of the US for 6 months. I explained why mailing a check would not work, and he has now gone missing and no longer responding to me. Lesson learned! After seeing a similar review, it is clear that they are not a reputable company. Only use By The Sea Livery if you absolutely don’t need to get where you are going.
Used Shaun for round trip surprise birthday trip. (He even kept surprise)Shaun was punctual, courteous and transported us in a spotless luxury vehicle. The trip and communication was flawless Definitely recommend without any hesitations!! Thank you

The owner is a gentleman and understands that business travel is fast paced and they are never flustered with my last minute changes. I’m so lucky to have found By The Sea Livery and trust them with my frequent rises to/from PWM and BOS.
