Lovely little museum in an idyllic setting canalside.

Visited Welshpool today and this lovely gem of a museum. Situated over two floors with a lift if you find stairs difficult. Everything was well documented and very easy to read, it was a pleasure to visit this very Interesting museum situated by the canal and with free entry. It is well worth the visit.

The countryside in the town! Fabulous little place to pop into, especially if combined with a short canal trip or a wander up the tow path.

very dissapointed as it has closed down.. it's moving elsewhere.. won't be in that unique building though sad I missed the chance to go in it

Very nice little gem on the canal in Welshpool lots of interesting exhibits ranging from roman to Second World War plenty to keep children interested it’s all well explained in welsh and English ,thanks for a nice time even the dog was allowed in such a lovely staff member.
