A real hidden gem in an area with quite a few stately homes. Had a very enjoyable and informative tour with Reg (a real gent) to learn about the house's very rich and often surprising multi-century history. Most definitely worth a visit if you happen to be anywhere near South Yorkshire. Scaffolding was up when we visited, would definitely like to visit again to see the facade properly. Interesting Covid-related exhibition in the grounds. Visited with family October 2020.

Had a lovely boxing day walk around the gardens. Absolutely beautiful place with gorgeous views. Took our two dogs who also loved it. There was a couple of refreshment carts. Also toilets available. Will definitely be visiting again in the summer.
Very well laid out, visitors on half hour slots due to covid restrictions, toilet facilities, hot drinks and food available. Lots of nooks and crannies were lucky to see the bee hives being cleaned, snowdrops look amazing also other shrubs combing into bloom
Had a walk through the grounds to Greasborough ponds. Lovely walk. Van serving hot drinks next to the house which was nice. Lovely place well worth a visit. Some nice garden tours you can book.
A place of History. More acessable than it ever was. But at the moment you have to settle for the garden.
