We use this hotel on our German trips before departing from Frankfurt airport. It was wonderful before but since our last visit the rooms have been renovated and updated. They have friendly, helpful, English-speaking staff and delicious breakfasts. Everything is spotlessly crisp and clean and they are within perfect walking distance to enjoy everything in Wertheim.
The hotel is what you would expect of any medium establishment. The rooms (mine was a double) were above "standard" though modern and clean. The bathroom was a little tight but again clean, modern and functionable. The breakfast buffet was most typical of a "Continental Breakfast" all was very fresh and a great selection. The Italian restaurant next door offered great pizzas and service. Overall, well worth the stay.
I stay a lot at this hotel. Both professionally as privately. There simply is no better in Wertheim. The excellent and friendly service are unseen! This place is a bit a second home. And this all guests experience right away when they are greeted at the reception! Rooms are cosy and clean. Internet is fast and has a good reception in all rooms. Breakfast is fresh every day (especially the home made Muesli I like a lot) The Italian restaurant downstairs serves nice food for all. A good steak, nice mixed fish platter or just a fresh pizza or pasta. Something nice for every taste :)
At town center and near to train station. Easy find food around. Clean and quiet.
Stayed one night during bike trip. Clean, good breakfast, room ok, showing age. Check in was not manned, have to dial phone, arrived around 2:30 and wouldn't allow check in until 3:00 (over the phone).
I will come back in summer. Place was really cool and had style. Neighbourhood was beautiful also.
