The team at Keiko Shin are truly outstanding in what they do and the level of commitment they offer to students of all ages. Sensei Ernesto and the instructors are some of the best in the sport and have proven so time and time again in both Domestic and International competitions. Students will receive the highest level in curriculum and technique. Over many years I have had the opportunity to train in several schools of martial arts (Jiu Jitsu, Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu, Shotokan Karate) and can confidently say that Keiko Shin is one of the best. Whether the student's goal is overall fitness, competition, or to learn a traditional Okinawan style of self defense, Keiko Shin Karate Academy will help make that goal a reality. Parents, your children will love the classes...YOU will love seeing them participate in the classes, and nothing will beat how proud you will be when they excel. Keiko Shin offers both Online classes and In-person classes (with proper temperature checks, sanitation and distance protocols) as well as after-school pickup. I was highly recommend this dojo from a friend when she heard I was having a hard time finding a reputable dojo. Sensei Ernesto has done an amazing job with teaching our son the art of karate, my son has a learning disability and was having a hard time at school. Since joining he has gained confidence, renewed focus, and has become more of an advocate for himself. Six months after starting basic karate my son was asked to join the competition team and we have continued to watch him grow in such a short time. What a great family friendly studio.. Your children deserve the best and this dojo is it.

Keiko shin karate academy is such an amazing Family oriented academy. My daughter has been going here for almost 12 years and just recently got her 2nd Dan, and love being there and helping and training. Sensei Ernesto and Ms.ibe are such amazing people.

I started taking the adult karate class at Keiko Shin about 2 years ago, as a form of physical fitness and self defense. I quickly became entrenched in the art of traditional Shotokan Karate. The classes are challenging and the atmosphere is welcoming and family oriented. Sensei Ernesto Fuentes is passionate about what he does and genuinely cares about his students of all ages!
