Bought a used Audi A3. Found a small crack in steering wheel the next day. Brought car back. Was told the air bag needed to be replaced for 800 and blamed me for the damage. Said I got angry and pounded it with my key. (The key in the ignition? I got angry, took out the key while driving, and stabbed my steering wheel? I don't think so.) They told me to have a friend claim it on his Haftpflichtversicherung (liability insurance), which would be insurance fraud. Didn't admit to that in front of management, of course. Inspector looked at it and forcefully and purposefully tried to recreate the damage on another part of the steering wheel but *could not*. Inspection performed by the same inspector that missed finding the crack in the first place. Still claimed that I caused the damage (that he couldn't replicate even though he intentionally tried to) and wouldn't cover the cost of repair. I didn't fix it there and never went back to them again for any service. Otherwise, the car ran very well and they did accommodate my lack of German to buy the car in the first place so 1 star. Just felt a bit taken advantage of, being a foreigner.
