It's not like it's a five-star Carlton Ritz. But it is a safe, nice place in a small town. They had room for our toy trailers and that is a huge plus. The 5 star is because of the staff. They were very accommodating and help full. The hot tub was nice after a long day riding in the snow.

Checked in Friday night front office very nice, elevator not working and our room was on the second floor in the middle of the hotel, we found food on the floor the first night and the second night we found a tick on the wall and hair in the shower! No refrigerator no microwave in rooms just not worth the price.
Front desk was pleasant was able to get us a room at arrival with no reservation and the house keeper we talked to was very helpful wish we would of got her name. Room was clean and comfortable. Wish it had a refrigerator and microwave. Will definitely be back..
I would give this hotel a five star rating. The room was very nice for the price and was available on News Year's Day. However the jacuzzi apparently leaked and we were woken up in the middle of the night and again in the morning. We then were called on the phone disturbing us. We had to change rooms. Now it would of been a 1 or 2 stars. But they did fix the tub and I was able to get the room back I had to leave what I was doing to achieve it however. The next night was perfect and they comped me the first night. So this takes it to a 4.
Was on my way home from the airport in Detroit and a snowstorm hit hard and fast couldn’t go faster than 25 mph on expressway. I made it to West Branch and got Super 8’s last room. Walked in and there is a small store area with lots of Michigan apparel, which was all reasonably priced so keeping this place in mind not only for hotel, but also Michigan souvenirs for gifts. Gorgeous room decorations, very comfortable bed and great bathroom. I didn’t want to leave and got late checkout haha. By far one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Would stay here again in a minute.
My husband and I stayed this weekend Friday and Saturday night due to a medical emergency that occurred with one of our family members. I made a reservation prior and when I arrived I paid for the stay with my bank card. During the entire stay there was a marijuana smell throughout the hallways, the pool was over COVID capacity, my husband and I could not even enjoy the amenities. There was no refridgerator or microwave in the room and when we checked in they did not tell us that they offered continental breakfast through sacks in the morning. I found out they did offer these by watching other guest walking with them when we checked out. I did bring up the odor and children running through the halls to a security officer and was disregarded, stating they couldnt assist to where the odor was coming from. The facility was run down and dirty. When I got home I noticed two additional charges on top of the 179 that I already had paid adding another 179.00 dollars. I called them immediately and the receptionist couldnt explain why they charged the additional amount and stated they were placed to reverse the charges. It doesnt help me now and the funny part is I never authorized the additional charges that were taken out! I will not ever be staying here again and if you do I advise you to watch your charges! I will be working this out with my bank if they do not refund the money....I just wonder how many other people they do this too? Very dissatisfied customer!
Stopped in pretty late. Could not reserve this through their site online, as something was wrong with their site. Walked in, and found there was no elevator and I have a bad knee so we ended up in the handicap accessible room with a king bed. The staff that helped us check in in the evening was amazing. She was so kind and worked nicely with us. The bedroom was nice compared to other Super 8's I have stayed at in the past. The reasons for only 3 stars....the shower, and the morning staff. The shower in our bathroom had black stained grout along the lower wall and into the floor. Whether it be build up or mold, it looked disgusting. It needed a good scrub. And, the lady that was morning staff had another person that was with her that seemed like she would rather be talking to than helping her guests. I found myself hearing too much of her conversations. And, when she would talk to us, she was "amped" about her conversations with the other person and seemed to "rush'" us. She was very unprofessional. There is NO coffee aside from what is in the rooms, and we passed on the breakfast bag. If you eat at the restaurant, The Lumberjack, right by the hotel, there is a discount of 10% off your bill for staying at the Super 8. Just need your receipt. Don't expect anything special at that restaurant though either....though the staff there is AMAZING!
Beautiful clean room excellent employees our stay was awesome. Mask are required in common areas however we were able to use the lovely pool and hot tub with no complications at keeping minimum capacity and social distancing.
