In my neck of the woods we were all out of seasoned firewood. After looking online for firewood and my 10th call, I called Sunnyside, and a very polite man answered by the name of Anthony. Not only did they have seasoned firewood on hand, the price was reasonable and it could be delivered the next day. Anthony turned out to be a college student, very professional, and a great representative of Sunnyside. The wood was delivered on time, and stacked perfectly of good quality. But what I really appreciated was that Anthony represented this business as a respectful, energetic young man who I felt comfortable with on my property. Thank you Sunnyside! I looking forward to a nice warm fire on Christmas day.

The soil line around our house was very high, and multiple professionals said we needed to regrade it lower. Sunnyside offered a very reasonable rate for the work. I gave them two goals: 1. Lower the soil line around our house, and 2. Don't create a moat around our house in the process. They accomplished #1 admirably and I have no complaints. #2, however, well, we are now proud moat owners. I'm looking into buying a moat monster to defend from intruders. Pet stores have been uncooperative. Seriously, we have had multiple observers point out that we have no grade away from the house and no swale between the homes. Anthony stands by his work and says drainage shouldn't be an issue, but photos don't lie. I asked him for an estimate to fix the problem and it has been a week with no response. That's another thing: communication is bad bad bad. Anthony doesn't call you, you have to call him. We are done with Sunnyside and I am writing their first negative Google review. Don't expect strong communication from them and I do not recommend for grading. Maybe they're good for other things.

We have used Sunnyside Landscaping for many projects since we have become homeowners. Anthony is someone we can trust, he is honest, and loyal to his work. It is so comforting to know we have someone we can go to for anything outdoors. He has mulched all our areas of landscaping a few times, sodded an area of our backyard after removing a deck (he even let us borrow his truck to dispose of the deck materials), spring cleaned, removed large bushes and planted new ones. Thank you, Anthony for being someone we can trust to give an honest opinion in making our home have the best curb appeal.
