Amazing work. Very thorough and very professional. Jim himself has a very mellow and insightful demeanor . his crew is also very professional and knowledgeable. I think this could be the best shop I have been too since I moved here from Los Angels .

I tried to reach out to jim and the secretary kept telling me he'd call me back but never heard back from him over the course of 2 weeks. Got the feeling that he didn't want to do the headers and exhaust on my truck. Regardless if you're busy or not a professional would have taken the 10 minutes to give me a call.

I've used jims a couple times in the past with good experiences but this time I was very disappointed. Dropped the car off and let them know that I was getting a code for an o2 sensor and that the muffler was split open and leaking. They quoted me at 1000 which was too much for my liking. I decided to do the job myself for under 300 bucks. They did nothing to the car and I had already told them the problem when I dropped the car off. They charged me 100 dollars for an hour of labor to "diagnose". I thought they would be reasonable...

I had the same experience as previous poster who was told she needed very expensive repairs only to find that the car needed only minor repairs to pass inspection. I took it elsewhere to have repairs done for less than 1/10 the cost of Jim's estimate, then to another inspection station where it passed inspection. To avoid returning to Jim's I had to pay for another inspection, so it cost me twice as much as it should have for a RI inspection - an expensive mistake I will not make again. I would recommend you avoid this garage for inspections unless you have a brand new car.

I went there last week for an inspection and waited over an hour for someone to tell me I failed because I had dry rot on ALL 4 tires? I asked how much tires would be they said 600. My mechanic offered a better deal so naturally I went with him. I got 4 BRAND NEW tires and were told my tires were in great condition and that there were NO CRACKS and NO DRY ROT on ANY of the tires!!! NEVER again will I go to a place who is trying to make extra money off of me.
