Mr. Bruce & Ms. Jackson are the best!! Always friendly & helpful. I’ve gotten a couple of their coworkers that have been professional in their manner. (Not as friendly as the two previously mentioned but no complaints about the professionalism.) I have had a couple that have been less than professional. You cannot do passport stuff at this location - You have to go to the main post office off of Hwy 165, which is a little bit of a stretch. (Doable but it would be fantastic to be able to do this in West Monroe, in addition to the location in Monroe.) They are closed on Saturdays, which is just annoying. Though, you just have access to P.O. Boxes when the post office is closed. Lastly, and the most frustrating, nobody at this location answers the phone. Any time you have a question, you have to physically go to the post office.

WORST MAIL SERVICE IN HISTORY, we just got passed the 2021 snow storm I was without insulin for a week almost. Now the roads have been clear enough for me to drive my 2003 Honda Civic with bald tires, and only one wheel getting traction 10 miles to my sisters house to bum her extra insulin. Although my mail man keeps marking my house as inaccessible... give me a break.

Why even have a phone? My mail has been delivered correctly for 2 years and the second I order 200 worth of precious metals, now the package is lost? You would think someone would answer the phone so I can ask questions but thats never the case. Here let me give you the 800 number so someone in new york can help you with your Louisiana problem. Worthless.

The workers here were so unhelpful. First they would never answer the phone so we had to drive up to the post office. We knew the package we were NEEDING had already arrived at the post office, so we wanted to try and pick it up. They told us the package we needed was there but that it was on a pallet in the back and still wouldn’t be delivered for a few days. No one offered to go check anything out for us. Incredibly rude to us as well. I see why the postal service is struggling with these types of employees!! So lazy.

They refuse to deliver Sunday deliveries. I have had numerous occasions where they show that they attempted delivery but "the driveway was blocked". There is no way to block my driveway and I have cameras to show they never came. This happens everytime I am expecting something on a Sunday. During the week, the regular mail lady always delivers to my door anything that cannot fit in the mailbox. But whoever delivers on Sundays will never deliver!

They refuse to deliver mail to my entire block because a neighbor on the opposite side of the street, which is on the opposite end of the block has dogs, which are on thick metal chains, behind a fence. I now have to go to the post office everyday and wait in line in a crowded lobby to get my daily mail...When I questioned what could be done, I was told I could call animal control about it or the neighbor in question could put up a mailbox outside their chainlink fence. So, I asked if the mailbox would allow the postmaster to walk the block and deliver mail, why not deliver the rest of the mail on the block and just skip that house? I was told that would make sense, but wasn't the way things are done...Also, when the female postmaster fills in, I receive my mail, just the mailman who is typically on the route refuses...

Our mail carrier is useless. She couldn't get a package in the right mailbox if her life depended on it. I can't tell you how many packages of ours have ended up with a neighbor. Fortunately most of them are honest. We still end up losing the occasional package because of her incompetent ways. I just got an expensive bottle of medication from a neighbor--thankfully. I know they are rushed, but she's not good at this job.

I hate to give this rating given the current state of things but my packages track to west Monroe then it says delivery attempted although mail never even ran. This has happened three times back to back. Mail just disappears from informed delivery and it makes me nervous knowing I have a check arriving in the mail. My son’s birthday present came to the post office here where they falsely said attempted delivery when they didn’t and sent it back to the seller. So now there’s no delivery date and the package is now days late. I’m missing official documents, I haven’t even seen a mail carrier in days. My stimulus check is extremely late and now I’m wondering if I’ll ever even receive it since it just disappeared from informed delivery without ever receiving any mail whatsoever. I understand USPS is struggling in light of current events and money troubles but that’s not the taxpayers fault nor is it their burden to bare. I paid for a service when I purchased my items. You agreed to deliver it within a specified time in exchange for money yet you’ve failed miserably to meet your end of the bargain and yet never once offered to refund or prorate the associated shipping fee. When you are paid to perform service it’s your contractual duty to fulfill those obligations. I have to pay you for goods and services and if I don’t then you refuse me service. It’s fast becoming a gamble to entrust USPS with any package or important documents. From this point forward I will not do business with anyone that exclusively uses USPS for shipping. If I buy a 10,000 guitar and it gets lost in your system then I’m out 10,000 and I seriously doubt you’ll hold up your end of the insurance agreement. Again it is not the customer’s problem nor fault that you are faltering financially. Meet your end of the bargain or get out of business.
