They have these covid procedures down perfectly. They make you feel real safe. All the ladies are very sweet and the dr is efficient.

Used to be a good easy place to get eye care needs. Now, there is always an excuse to why you can't get service. It is either Covid, the office manager isn't there, or their equipment isn't working.

No customers in the room 5 employees doing nothing I had an appointment and they wouldn’t let me shop for frames. I’m not playing this game

Just as good as the more expensive firms. Maybe even better. He has always been kind and knowledgeable. Just bc it's in a Walmart doesn't mean it is 'less than' or discount.

Pleasant experience all around with this location. Their doctor is there M-F and every other Saturday and they'll schedule you between 8-3:30! That's some excellent MD hours compared to my local Walmart. I won't get into it but the WalMart Vision Center in Winnsboro, LA will never waste my time again - EVER. SO! Back to the wonderful world of Walmart Vision Center of West, Monroe LA! :-) They accept most commercial insurances but you can call to confirm first. The associates are so pleasant, friendly, & attentive. There are usually 2 on the floor assisting customers. They're very thorough & answer all questions. You'll never feel forced, rushed, or regret being there! The doctor is very respectful & polite. I compared my last visit similar to a spa. It was a very smooth experience. The way a visit should be. I definitely plan on coming back. They have a big selection of frames. I can't wait to follow up. Looking forward to maybe getting some contacts now from this location. I'm a very happy customer. No complaints.

Typical Walmart experience. Manhandled and bruised produce. Uninformed, underpaid employees who aren't familiar with the store's merchandise and will point you in the direction of the nearest other employee like a game of tag where the customer always loses. This is most Walmarts. You don't come here because you want to, but because there is no better choice at the time. I have a particular gripe with this one, though. I was calling to see if a product was available since the website had no information as to its availability. So I call and the operator either puts me on hold or I am transferred and put on hold for slightly over 30 minutes. Once I spoke to a person she was knowledgeable and had an immediate answer. But surely a phone transfer to another department shouldn't take such a ridiculous amount of time. I recorded the conversation. I'm thinking management might be interested in hearing it. Or perhaps they could care less. I don't know the specifics of the situation but at least the operator knew my call went unanswered for so long. No hold music or voice to pacify that someone was paying attention. I wanted to see how long it could go on for. Don't plan on getting much help if you call, I suppose. Or, perhaps, I just picked the wrong day of the week to call. This isn't the worst hold treatment I've gotten. Walgreens in Monroe, LA once kept me on hold for nearly two hours hoping I would go away because I had a complicated issue with my prescription that required a lot of calls and paperwork. Persevere if you get stuck on hold. Put your phone on speaker and find something else to do until a human finally joins you on the line. Corporations use tricks like this to bully difficult customers. I don't just mean belligerent, angry, or mean customers, but those who just seem like too much work. Minimum wage and the Walmart employment environment doesn't foster good employees either and that is Walmart's fault.
