My dryer died right before Christmas. It is weeks to get a repair company out right now. I decided to purchase a new GE dryer (I only buy GE appliances). I cannot tell everyone how happy I was with the whole purchase process at American Freight in West Orange. I dealt with Deborah (store manager). The store had a vast selection of dryers to choose from and look at on the floor. Deborah was extremely knowledgeable of the floor models and the differences. She even knew a lot about the installation and gave us good tips as we were installing the dryer ourselves. The check out process was fast and the gentleman helped us load the dryer right in our van in front of the store. I will NEVER shop at a mega store like Home Depot, Lowe's or Best Buy again. So much less chaotic here. In addition, the prices are fantastic. Would highly recommend and will be back again for other items. The store has alot of nice items.

This place has been so good to me. I just bought my house and was so overwhelmed with all I had to get done with moving. Both Michael and Debbie has given me nothing less than great customer service. The delivery came on time but I had to return the laundry center. The following day I called Michael and he was already ready to do my exchange and to have my new items quickly delivered on Saturday. I left very happy and excited for my new appliances. The entire West Orange team has been great. Can’t wait to shop with them again :-)

I had been sent to the West Orange location by a Sears chat person. I was supposed to pick up a manual that I needed for a new stand mixer I had bought since I do not like using online manuals. Turns out it is no longer a Sears outlet store. Debbie, at the desk, was extremely helpful. She listened to my story & I showed her the pictures I had taken of my chat screens to explain. She was able to print out a copy of the manual. She was under no obligation to do so, but instead of taking the easy way out, she went that extra mile to help me out. I am so impressed by her sense of ethics. Afterward I did spend some time looking around the refrigerators, washers, dryers, and stoves on the floor. I was impressed by the savings possible (although there were lots more dryers than washers available). And I am absolutely going there to check out available stock when I need to replace any of those items. A serendipitous occurrence. I now know a person & a place I would trust to help me in my future purchases.

Spoke with Debbie to place an order for a mattress set, bed frame & reclining chair for my 84 yr. old brother in Orange, NJ., I live in Florida and Debbie was an absolute Angel, with the patience of a saint, and walked me step by step in placing the order.
