Hi, I'm a new resident to this property and I do not recommend anyone move here. Here's why: 1. I moved here in November 2020. I put in countless complaints my apartment was cold. I was given excuses like my thermometer was \broken\ but they \fixed it\. They \looked\ at my windows and a epair company\ was coming to look at my windows but no one came. I let them come in my apartment without me being here and that was my mistake. I had to catch the super outside one night for him to see the heat was off. I stayed home once for the repairs and I kid you not, the super fixed my heat & window issue in 10mins. He just properly locked the windows & bled the radiators. The repair was completed in January 2021. That's two months of living in a cold apartment. 2. The management only cares about your concerns when you reach out to the regional office. After 3-4 times over 2 months of complaining to the property manager here that I had no access to the laundry room, I contacted the regional office. My issue was resolved the next day. They don't answer the phones or emails unless someone above them is aware of your issue. 3. There was a snow storm yesterday until this morning. We received emails asking us to move our cars so the parking lot can be cleaned. My neighbor and I cleaned our cars and moved it out the spots. The parking spaces were never cleared. They did such a poor job with cleaning that cars are still getting stuck on the road (not the parking spot). It's a real safety hazard. My parking spot is in the corner and because the snow is still there, I was unable to get back in my spot and had to park in the visitor's section. So yeah, my recommendation is to just move somewhere else. There are a lot of empty apartment here for a reason. I'll update if my experience here improves.

Dave is a great building manager! I love that my dogs are in a safe area with other dogs! But the parking is terrible..I can never find parking or a visitor spot near my home to where is it safe for walking distance. Also, I have been having issues with the maintenance worker this not a reasonable person and has a very bad attitude for a staff member working at Eagle Rock Apartments.

I have moved many times over the years and i have never had as an amazing experience as the one I had today at Eagle Rock in West Orange. The property manager David Reiss was an absolute pleasure to work with. He of course went through the normal procedures of giving me a tour, but it was in the way in which he did it that made the experience so welcoming. He was very patient and answered all my question and made me feel like I was already part of the community. I was so excited when I went through the application process, not only because I was approved but to know that I now know I have an exceptional staff at hand. Thank You David for your help and helping me end a search that I thought would never end. I am now happy to call Eagle Rock of West Orange my new home.

My mother had a very bad experience with this place. I don’t recommend. She was told that she would be renting an apartment with them in April signed lease and everything for 1350 come to find out a few weeks later that after signing her new lease that the apartment is now 1450. After that they told her the apartment would be ready for July 1, now they talking bout the apartment being done July 10-15. Mind you she has to return her current apartment on June 30. They don’t keep they word. She’s basically homeless now because of they little word. I feel like they treated her with discrimination because she is Hispanic trying to move out from Newark to West Orange.
