DISASTER. I had Dr. Miller perform two laser cataract surgeries and he implanted the WRONG LENS PRESCRIPTION in BOTH MY EYES. He then did three additional laser procedures to try to correct the mistakes, none of which helped. Out of sheer frustration, I subsequently consulted another ophthalmologic surgeon who told me, unfortunately, nothing more could be done. Cataract implants are irreversible. Bottom line: both surgeries were horrible mistakes I have to live with for the rest of my life. My vision is worse than it was before – and now, in order to see, I must have three separate pairs of glasses: one for distance, one for intermediate, and one for reading. I can’t even use progressive lenses. I trusted Dr. Miller, but the office is run too much like an assembly line where patients are simply the output. If a no-star review was an option, I would have chosen it.

Don't take babies or young children to see Dr. Miller. I wish I'd had the foresight to speak up during the appointment rather than letting my thoughts process after. I was told my 1 year old daughter would not likely require eye dilation when I scheduled. I planned for a brief appointment (my bad) but my daughter was napped, fed, and very happy upon arrival. After meeting Dr. Miller it was decided to have her eyes dilated. I asked how long it'd take and was told 20-30 minutes. When I asked why her eyes required dilation I was told \to take a look\. Fast forward 1.5 hours my (still very happy) baby is about to have her eyes looked at post-dilation. He attempted once to look at her eyes before throwing in the towel and deciding to tell us it's not a big deal and there's no need to look into her eyes. You would never allow a physician to pretreat you as an adult and not complete an examination. So why to a 1 year old? Why did he even dilated her eyes in the first place? It's careless, unprofessional, and unacceptable.

From the moment I walked through the door, Dr. Ken Miller made me feel comfortable, safe and confident that I was in the BEST HANDS (literally) for Lasik eye surgery. His ability to communicate the most complex medical terms in a manner I was able to understand continued to reinforce my confidence in him and his team with a sense of comfort and kindness. It is not often you are able to experience the best health care has to offer with a sense of humanity as well - I would recommend Dr. Ken Miller for anyone considering Lasik.

I decided to finally get LASIK after thinking about it for years. I went to 3 different doctors for consults, one of them being Dr. Miller. Although the wait was longer than expected for my consultation, it was worth it. He was extremely nice and very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I felt very confident making my decision to go through with the surgery with Dr. Miller. He made sure I was comfortable before and during my procedure, I don't know how he did it but he did (I was EXTREMEMLY nervous, I was scared to death prior to the procedure). It has now been almost 4 months since I had LASIK done and I am very happy with my results and couldn't be happier with my post-op appointments and care. In my case, I experienced mild dry eye for longer than expected after the surgery which Dr. Miller has been paying extra attention to and making sure it is taken care of. I am confident that he and his staff will continue to provide me with excellent care and I am looking forward to my next post-op appointment. 5 Stars :)
