I saw that this place does a wonderful job helping the dogs and cats and decided to adopt two kittens to raise. I have been wanting to raise two kittens for a long time and i was at perfect time in my life to accept the responsibility of pet ownership. I was called by Dana to discuss my adoption application. I was quickly denied because i specified that i would be living with my two roommates who both happen to be my best friends. She specifically said that roommates can be problematic for the kittens and immediately deemed me to have an unstable home. I did not like being generalized like that and i was not even given the opportunity to meet these kittens. She did not even want to set up a meeting with my roommates and I to discuss this issue. She quickly ended the phone call. Adopting a human child is probably easier.

Dana Poore has gone above and beyond to help me adopt and save cats from a bad fate. Dana has also introduced me to other fellow cats loves that just helped me trap and adopt a stray 1.5 year old male cat. Michael Tin’s review I found to be inappropriate by not understanding why he was not a candidate for adoption. Dana takes extra precautions and has witnessed too many irresponsible and sad situations and that is why I trust Dana and her organization. It’s easy to look outside and see tons of strays and feral cats, but how many organizations know the pets the take care of and foster with third parties and vet the new owner? Why give a wonderful organization one star when they need the support of the public. Carry on Dana and ARF. Thank you!
People are extremely rude and disrespectful. Do not adopt from these people.
Cats are well cared for.
ARF is an amazing organization! They truly care about their animals and the people who make them part of their families. We gave 2 of their kitties a home, and they have been a great resource to us every step of the process. We have had to opportunity to meet several of their volunteers and they are the kindest people. I cannot say enough good things! If you are thinking of rescuing this is the organization to go through!
