I have seen Dr. Gleiber for many years and he always advised me extremely well. Initially I had issues that did not require surgery and he did not push it on me. More recently I developed a herniated disc and sciatica. Dr. Gleiber recommended not rushing to a decision to have surgery. Finally I did decide to have surgery and he could not have been more thorough in his evaluation and attention to detail. His staff took care of everything so that everything ran extremely smoothly. The surgery went very well. Even the nursing staff at the hospital said he is the most thorough spine surgeon around. I woke up from the surgery without sciatica and was able to walk immediately. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Gleiber as he will be able to manage from the most minor to the most major spine problems. His reputation from the hospital staff was that he is able to manage the most difficult cases that other spine surgeons stay away from.

Dr Gleiber performed my very successful spine surgery almost 3 years ago. And I'm doing great! Prior to surgery, I had severe spinal stenosis and herniated discs that caused severe leg pain and disability. I was in bed pretty much all the time because lying down was the only way to relieve the leg pain. The surgery consisted of discectomy and decompression to the lower lumbar spine. My outcome has been wonderful -- as if nothing was ever wrong -- to the point where I can't even remember which leg had the pain! - lol. I am so happy I chose him. (btw other surgeons I consulted when choosing a surgeon thought I needed a fusion, which Dr Gleiber felt was not needed. And clearly Dr Gleiber was right, with the test of time of 3 years now since the surgery.) So anyway, even though I no longer have pain, I still think of Dr Gleiber from time to time because he helped me so much. So I wanted to take a minute to write this review. In my life and work, I often meet or hear about people with severe back issues who either are afraid to have back surgery or had unsuccessful surgery and gave up trying again. I wish all those people could see Dr Gleiber and have an experience like I had. I hope I never need another back surgery, but if I ever do, I can't imagine going to anyone else.

Miracle Maker The best and most caring spine surgeon I've ever seen. Before, I had the misfortune of multiple botched surgeries by local doctors.
