Dr Berto Lopez is one of the best gynecologist I’ve ever seen. He has been my doctor since my first child which is now 31 years old. Now he is her doctor for her 2 kids. I will always be grateful for how he took care of me. He preformed my tuba ligation and hysterectomy and done an awesome job. For the ones that is bad mouthing him, find another doctor. That’s his life and all he knows, so if you don’t want food taken from your mouth then don’t do it to him.

Respondent [former Doctor Berto Lopez] failed to practice medicine with that level of care, skill and treatment which, in light of all relevant surrounding circumstances, is recognized as acceptable and appropriate by reasonably prudent similar health care providers in violation of Section 458.331(1)(t), Florida Statutes (2017), in the care and treatment of dead Patient O.C. in one or more of the following ways: a. By failing to perform a total hysterectomy instead of a supracervical hysterectomy, given Patient O.C.'s cervical laceration; b. By failing to re-open and explore the patient when she was observed to be actively bleeding from the surgical incision; c. By failing to order frequent re-testing of Patient O.C.'s hemoglobin in order to monitor her blood loss; d. By failing to administer additional units of blood as needed to replace what the patient had lost; and/or e. By failing to remain at the hospital in order to monitor Patient O.C.'s condition. Based on the foregoing, Respondent has violated Section 458.331(1)(t), Florida Statutes (2017), by committing medical malpractice.

They are running an insurance scam. I went here for the first and only time in July 2019. The appointment was not thorough and nothing like I am used to. Since July 2019, I have gotten 2 separate bills (each containing different things) from this office regarding the visit. I have never before visited a medical establishment and been billed months later for odd charges. I gave them my insurance card during my visit and it was 100% covered. I will be reporting this office, be warned something is VERY off with this establishment. The doctor also tried to push allergy testing on me that they also do in the same office, which I don't need.
