After eating at their steakhouse for more than 20 years, I reluctantly left my “warm blanket” and go-to restaurant to try their new seafood oriented creation. I’m glad I did. In typical Okeechobee Steakhouse fashion, OPS provided a top quality experience I have grown to expect. If I could give it 100 stars I would. I had the stuffed flounder, and they made my wife something that wasn’t even on the menu that she used to enjoy at the Steakhouse. In summary, top quality food, the best service, and excellent execution. I will be back...

By far the best seafood I have had in years. Great for date night, or just because. The prices are great and the food is so fresh. There are many wines to choose from that paired perfectly with my meal. The service was outstanding. The servers and managers work well together helping each other out. The decor and ambiance are both BEAUTIFUL. If you are looking for an amazing seafood restaurant (that also offers amazing steaks) then this is definitely the place to be any night of the week. Also family friendly!! TREAT YOURSELF!!
I wish I could give 10 Stars ️! We were Celebrating my brother in law’s birthday with a party of 7 .. First of all the service was excellent- top notch and above and beyond.. Amber was our server and easily the best server ever! She was attentive, professional and anticipated all our needs! Truly, from the hostess to the all the staff the service was top notch! Casual elegance with a touch of trendy- the atmosphere was relaxing! Wow! Now to the menu and cuisine! Definitely something for everyone! We started with the crispy calamari and fish dip.. both outstanding, delicious and large portions for a table to share! Warm bread and butter is delicious- try not to fill up because the best is yet to come.. I ordered the scallops- buttery and sweet- maybe the best I’ve ever had.. perfectly cooked and Absolutely delicious! Most of our party ordered the stuffed flounder special and it was a huge portion, beautiful presentation and they raved about how delicious it was. Please refer to my pictures. We also had one petite filet with a salad and potato. Of course that was perfectly cooked and amazing! My sister made her famous pineapple upside down cake and they graciously accommodated us. Okeechobee Steakhouse is one of our favorite restaurants and I’m glad to say their newest restaurant continues their standards of top notch service and food quality! They are adhering to all CDC guidelines including social distancing and limited capacity! I would definitely recommend!
Amazing! The service, the food and the cocktails! Homemade everything! Plus, the bar and decor is stunning. You can really tell love goes into the food and the restaurant. I always love supporting small businesses too. Can’t wait to go again!
The review is difficult to write, it will come in two parts. The quality of the food is always great at this family of restaurants, but a fine dining experience must also include appropriate service and amenities. The both table that we were given for our party of six was small and very cramped, nearly everyone in our party made the remark, which was most embarassing for my wife and myself. The mixed green salad is great, the food was truly wonderful....but the service was horrible. Out of six, two main courses arrived together and the 4 remaining guest sat around and waited. I got up to complain to the hostess, the manager came over and he was cold and uncaring.....and to be sure, I was very upset. Perhaps a total of 15 minutes passed until the next wave of dinners arrived. Totally unacceptable for a restaurant of the price and reputation.
My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Okeechobee Prime Seafood their first week open. While most new restaurants sometimes have initial opening hiccups, that is not the case here. This spot is ran like a fine oiled machine. The food, staff and atmosphere is top tier. Everything was cooked to perfection. We couldn’t of asked for a nicer evening. I highly recommend Okeechobee Seafood!
No server for 15 minutes. No cocktails for 45 minutes. No salad until after dinner. Lobster tempura was under cooked. Twin lobster tails were soft like jelly and were returned. We had enough issues with an expensive restaurant and asked to leave. We were then given someone else's 20 bill. We went to pay until they said that it was a mistake.. Really said for well known class business.
Food and service was great but the men bathroom must have more than one stall.The line was out the door in this day and age.
