I'm standing in customs line trying to go home . It looks like more people are on break then working, supervisor on floor looks like he is lost. I have not moved in 1 hour .0 movement in line. This is what my tax money pay for, someone needs to fix customs office to be more effective and let people who finished vacation not end up regretting going through this port.

You have to be kidding. We were just in the customs office and had the rudest person take care of us. He never even said good morning. Just why are you here. We handed him our required documents and passports and he walked away for about 20 minutes without a word to us. While we were there, a very nice Canadian gentleman came in for a cruising permit. Another agent came out and said good morning how can I help you. Wow! What a difference! Finally the officer came back out and handed us our documents without a word said to us. How about welcome back to the states or have a nice day? Nothing. Doesn’t make me proud to have him as an agent representing our country. Btw, his name was Officer Baptist. Definitely could use some people skills.

January 2nd 10:20am jjst gertget off from a relaxing and nice cruise to Bahamas with my family. Until now we have been waiting in line for 1h35m with, at least, 1h ahead. Just 4 customs officers are on duty, lack of information and messy lines. Also, after 1h in the line my kid (11yo) had to use the restroom and the lady in charge wanted us to restart the line again! \Because it says clearly that beyond this point you can't use the restroom anymore\. It doesn't say \be ready for 2h waiting\ or \carry your own water bottle so you can pee in the line while you wait\ Bottom line is, if this custom and border protection office is not prepared to handle this volume of people or is not fit to provide a good service... easy... Don't do it! Send the ships and all the money involved in this business someplace else Happy 2019 :(

They were as fast as they could be, didn't ask too many questions, and serviced us with a smile. The border officer even recommended a great breakfast spot for us! Would travel here again for sure.

Once we arrived back into the USA from the Bahamas, we called into the toll free line & got clearance. We were told to present ourselves at a USCBP office. We decided to stay at the Riveriera Beach Marina which is right next to this office. We went to the 2nd floor(not 3rd as they may tell you). The US CBP agent (lady) that took our passports could not have been more pleasant. We were only there a few minutes, and were on our way with a friendly goodbye after she stamped our passports.
