Beautiful Hide Away and Nice Folks

This marina is in a fantastically beautiful site. Yes, it's out of the way. It's further up river and quieter, and well sheltered. It also has covered slips, which are becoming scarce. There are sunsets, wildlife, and places to kayak. There is no pool or bar, but if that's what you want, you can get these nearby. As long as you pay attention to the privately maintained markers, you can get in and out easily. A potential problem is it's future. There has been investment in new bathrooms and dock upkeep, but there doesn't seem to be any real interest in getting new slip holders. There is a boat brokerage here, and that seems to be the focus. Still, if you have a boat that needs shelter (like a wooden trawler), or you want a quiet place to dock your boat, I encourage you to check this place out.
