Always hot and fresh. Excellent service and great prices. I love the chicken empenadas. Only sad thing is the corporation eliminated the sauces offered and I miss those.

Super delicious! A crispy outer layer packed with flavor, envelopes each juicy piece of chicken. The sides of campero beans and rice accompany the chicken very well, along with the array of salsas. Finger-licking goodness! A good break from the traditional chicken chains around town.
It was ok. I definitely need to learn more Spanish before coming back. That way we can communicate better
I'm not a huge fried chicken fan, and by that I mean that I am pretty picky about my fried chicken experience. This stuff is really really good. It's different from what most Americans would expect because of the marinade and spices in the batter. It's unique, but that's part of what makes it great. Not spicy, but flavorful. The beans are awesome as well. They provide Chohula if you want to kick it up a bit. I docked one star because I love mashed potatoes, and theirs are so full of MSG that they no longer taste like potatoes, and they make your tongue feel raw. The only potatoes I've had that were worse were from Tinuccis in Newport. No one in my family will eat the potatoes from either place. I would stay away from them. I'm sure they are instant potatoes of some sort, but even so, there are good instant potatoes on the market. But the rest of the sides are good, especially the beans. Comparison to KFC... Definitely better than the Colonel.
Pollo Campero is essentially the chain / fast food version of what I was seeking in a Peruvian / Latin chicken spot. I got the half and half and thoroughly enjoyed both flavors. The campero beans and corn salsa are highly recommended. The yucca frites weren’t so good. I wasn’t a fan of the sauce that accompanied and wish I’d have received that Aji Verde (Peruvian green sauce) instead. Order ahead online and drive right through that drive through for easy service.
