Went in today about something wrong with my head. The doctor that saw me didn’t even care to really listen to anything I had to say. I gave him my symptoms to the best of my ability and then out of the blue just wrote me a prescription for pain killers and gave me a shot which didn’t end up helping. I would not recommend this place at all.

10/13/18 Hours were posted on door 9:00-4:00, just left there a few minutes ago, it was about 1:58, Door was locked, I got on the phone and started to call and that is when an employee came out to say they were closed, I said it was posted and said until 4pm, she then pointed to a paper that was taped INSIDE (i could barely see it even with her pointing at and i said you can't even see it because the doors were tinted) the door and said because of the weather they were closing early. I chose to go there because I heard good things and because of it being right around the corner from where I live, unfortunately my review is not a good one at all. We were there before 2pm and were not allowed in, horrible display of "change of hours", and just because it's raining shouldn't be an excuse to close early. Fast Med has now received us as new patients, and guess what it's still raining and they are remaining open.

I had a front office receptionist call me to reschedule my appointment due to my doctor no longer working with the company about 3weeks ago for 03/27 with Dr. Ron. I had my daughter call that same week to confirm the date and time of the appointment and see if something earlier was available which was not an option at the time. I arrived at 9am on 03/27 to West Valley Urgent Care and was told at that point that Dr Ron was not available and I would have to reschedule my appointment. This is such a huge inconvenience I have take time out my day and so had my daughter only to be told there is apparently no Doctor available and apparently Dr Ron is not here today. This is absolutely ridiculous and completely unprofessional and I have now waited 15mins and no one has done anything to assist apparently the office manager can’t be bothered to come speak with my daughter or I she is instead hiding in the back talking to another manager. I would highly recommend not coming to this office since no one can be bothered to get on the same page to get patients taken care of.

I do not like this urgent care maybe 1or 2 doctors in there actually care about what's going on with you. I got some pretty trying results and instead of the doctor coming and talking to me about it, she just sent her MA to read me the results and tell me what to do. Mind you the MA was very nice! But he was not who I needed to talk to! How does a place have doctors that don't check you at all but want to hear your symptoms, based on your symptoms prescribe you something but do nothing else. In this case I asked for blood work (it was not offered) and that's how we got those results. I know this is a Urgent care the step before the emergency room in some cases, but at least show people you actually care and are concerned about what is going on with that person at that time.

I live out of state and I was visiting pheonix for my kids baseball tournament. My other son got hit in the eye with a foul ball as he sat behind home plate. I took my son to the west valley urgent care and had a great experience. Dr Chaney stitched up my son's wound and was very informative and made me and my son feel relaxed. Dr Chaney was great and I would recommend him.

I highly recommend this facility. I was very sick and couldn't get an appointment with my Primary Care Physician. I ended up going here and was pleasantly surprised. Most Urgent Care facilities I've visited left me saying "never again" because of wait times and how I was treated. Thankfully my wait time was less than 30 minutes and all of the staff were very helpful and knowledgable. I was out of there in under 2 hours total. Thank you!

The kind of care and service that I expected to receive at an urgent care was not what I had perceived to be at all. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The service was quick and efficient. I have been on a roller coaster ride when it comes to managing the pain in my back. Dr. James McAvoy was very empathetic toward me and the discomfort that I was feeling. He was very knowledgeable about the medication that he prescribed to manage my pain and discomfort. It has been a long time since I have felt like more than just a patient. I am so elated that I finally found a place that truly cares about their patients and I am looking forward to switching my primary care physician to the professionals at West Valley Urgent Care. I will definitely be recommending West Valley Urgent Care to all my friends and family.
