Rafael was outstanding to work with. We asked for a custom made bartop with reclaimed wood. Rafael drove to New Hampshire to procure the wood and nailed the look we were going for. The work was outstanding quality. He was honest and easy to work with. Would hire his team again in heartbeat. Thanks Rafael!!

From our initial conversations about my project through to completion, RFS Carpentry improvements and renovations proceeded as planned, organized and timely manner. Rodrigo and his Team were highly skilled and worked efficiently and at a reasonable price. Any project change was discussed with appropriate action taken.
I had rotting wood on the exterior that needed replacing. Fascia, window and door trim, etc. Most of it on second story. I hired Rodrigo to replace. He did a fantastic job. On a 60-70 year old house you should expect the unexpected and the last work item to replace trim on the rear door to garage revealed severely rotted framing and door jam at the base next to the brick steps due water. Rodrigo did more than just fix, he fixed it to prevent it from happening again. The best way to describe: it is like he is working on his own house with the extra care and attention he puts in.
Rod redid my entire house....he did a better job then i could of even expected .....great to work with, very professional, ABSOLUTELY GREAT CARPENTRY WORK and all other aspects of working on the house, from opening up the ceiling with beams, sky lights, loft, flooring, staircase, custom sliding doors, entire deck and more....I would definitely hire him again or recommend him to anyone i know...if you want to see his work first hand feel free to set up an appointment thru Rod...
I have lived on Cape Cod for 50 years and RFS is by far the best contractor I have ever worked with. RFS has completed 4 major projects for me that included an addition of a large suite of rooms, a kitchen renovation, a bath renovation and the remodelling of 3 rooms & a staircase . I don’t know whether I am impressed more by the skill or the honesty and reliability of Rod Souza and RFS . His fine carpentry skills are astounding and he is so versatile he can work from detailed architectural plans, or from a simple sketch or picture.
