While on vacation this summer our personal vehicle broke down. Doug and his son were the only car rental company in the area who helped us out. They went above and beyond, drove out to our car to help get us back to the airport for a car rental and were very flexible considering we didn't know how long repairs would take given the nearest dealership was over 100 miles away. Doug even hooked up a diagnostic device to show what might have happened to our car before we even got to the dealer. Thank you so much for being #1 in our book - the other car agencies either were all booked or even laughed at our situation given it was a holiday weekend - so you can see the difference in customer service Doug and his family provide is real and it really matters to so many like us who get stranded and are in a bind! Out of state and travelling with kids made this an emergency - thanks for making it so much easier, Doug and family! - The Ziebarth family from WA state.

Doug and his wife were wonderful to work with. My family and I were out west on vacation and had car issues that required a rental. Doug was super accommodating and helped me get my family vacation back on track as quickly as possible. Doug went above and beyond by allowing me to drop off vehicle at another location convenient to my itinerary, even though it put him in a pickle for another reservation. I would recommend Doug and Avis as the gold standard in putting the customer first!! Thank you Doug!!

Because Doug at the West Yellowstone location provided some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. He knew I was in a jam and was kind with suggestions and pointed me in the right directions, and made sure I was taken care of in a safe and helpful manner. I would tell anyone traveling to that area to make sure to look up Doug and that location for great service for sure!!

Doug helped my family out of a bind! Rented a minivan that died and had to be jumped (twice). We called customer service (less than helpful, but did let us know we could exchange at the West Yellowstone Airport), when my husband got there, it was closing time (customer service also gave wrong operating hours). Doug was willing to stay and help us out, even though most vehicles had been moved out for the season. So thankful for him and his service!

Wow what amazing hospitality. My family and I were on our way to West Yellow Stone and 20 miles out we were in a head on collision totaling our truck and pull trailer. Doug received a call from my boyfriend and explained the situation. He not only discounted the car rental but had his son pick us up 20 miles out of town at the tow truck shop we were stuck at. His son (so sorry I am forgetting your name) was so sweet and nice and did his best to keep our hopes up as he drove us to West Yellow Stone. They made our horrible situation easy to deal with. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Rent your car here for the best hospitality in West Yellow Stone!

all awesome and friendly. Great service. I know it's Yellowstone in summer and all, but those prices are crazy high, thankfully we were able to get the price down some. Still must expensive rental ever. But the people were great

Wonderful hospitality, helpful and sincere! My family and I were traveling to West Yellowstone on a dream camping trip when we were hit head-on and totaled our truck and trailer. I want to thank Doug and his staff for helping us through this difficult time. They came after hours and picked us up in Island, Idaho, discounted our rate, brought us water and were warm and welcoming. I can not thank them enough for all of there help! In the end Doug sacrificed his largest SUV so we could transport our belongings home to San Antonio, TX. I will be recommending Avis at the Airport, West Yellowstone to all my friends and family. Again, thank you Doug!

Called to exchange vehicles because the Minnesota location gave us a vehicle that needed an oil change halfway through our 9 day trip to yellowstone. Spoke with Doug and he was incredibly condescending and rude. Acted as if he couldn't do anything without my confirmation number and refused to do anything but the bare minimum to help get the situation figured out. Laughed at my situation and told me to call back when I had the confirmation number. Hopefully Doug can learn to do his job respectfully because he sure left us feeling played. Never using avis again
