Ordered take out, just one cheese pizza. It was burnt and cold. When I returned the pizza, the woman at the counter chased me outside yelling threats at me from across the street. Spoke to the management, and they put it on us to decide how to make it right. Not wanting someone to lose their job while so many are suffering we requested that they donate some food to a local shelter as we do not trust the employees at this establishment.

Ordered take out; cheese pizza, chicken fingers and fries, and cheesy bread. Got it home and everything was stone cold and looked awful. The fries were overdone, the chicken fingers were clearly Cisco brand, the pizza cheese was congealed, and I’m fairly certain the cheesy bread was on a gluten free crust because it had a weird consistency. Aside from the cheesy bread which looked freshly cooked, everything tasted like it had been sitting in a hot table for a few hours. I’ve had fresher and better tasting food at a buffet. If I hadn’t ordered it myself, I would had guessed my meal was from a gas station.
Portland Pie in Westbrook is very cozy. Theres a strong bar vibe throughout, and limited seating. They have a moderately sized TV by the bar as well. I have celiac disease. I found that their gluten free pizza gave me little discomfort the day after. Theyre strict on cross contaminación, but one can't avoid flour in the air. Just let the cooks know of any allergies when you order! Side note, their pepperoni is certified gluten free. Their sauce is unforgettable. 2 bathrooms, no stalls, men and women's. Shared parking is small around the back of the building, or street side. Friendly staff. I wish they offered deep dish pies. I'd consider their prices

This review is specific to the Westbrook location. The food has always been good and I love their orchard salad (I add grilled chicken). I typically place my order online and pick it up to go. The service is hit or miss, sadly more often than not, it is a miss. There is a male that works there that is personable and has been excellent. However the two females I have encountered are impersonal, rude, and not intuitively helpful. It seems that regardless to the order, they never want to offer a bag or a fork and when you ask, they act put-out. One in particular won't move until you fill out the tip, you know for take-out. Even then, unless you tip 20% she won't even crack a smile. I will never tip them again until after I receive my food and even then it will be reflective of the service and attitude, of course then there is a trust issue, so I guess the best bet is to avoid the place altogether.
