This was by far the worst 99 Restaurant I have ever been to. We ordered soup and our dinners came with side salads. Well the soup came out which was great but less than 10 minutes later our entrees came out. The manager brought them and when I told him we had not even received our salads (and he could clearly see we were only half done with our soup) he just said I'll check on your salad. When he returned with our salads he said that they were not given to us before the entrees because his staff was "chopping the lettuce". When I asked why all of our food was on our table at once he said "well we're not busy tonight so our cooks just fill the orders right away". When I suggested that this was poor planning - instead apologizing or even pretending to care - he said "I'll tell my GM". Nothing was done to rectify the situation - no offer of dessert or anything - he never even came back to our table to ask how we were doing. He is the worst manager I have ever encountered. Shame too because the Host who seated us was a very nice and personable young man and I told him that on the way out. This, by the way, is the first bad review I have EVER given. I am not picky or a curmudgeon but this was inexcusable and I feel like the manager could have not been more disinterested.

Our first time at 99 Restaurant. It was great food and very friendly. Great service. We are traveling to Boston MA. I sure we will visit another 99 Restaurant.

Had flown in to the airport nearby on Sunday. Decided to eat lunch at 99. My lunch was 9.99 and my friends lunch was 14.99. Got the bill for 39 and change without the breakdown. Didn't say anything. I know the restaurant industry is hurting, but felt cheated. Not going there again. Sorry.

Decor is nice. Unfortunately the meal was a a mixed bag of pretty good and sub-par averaging out to just ok. My chicken parm was delicious and the garlic bread was a wonderful pie-shaped wedge of some sort of crusty bread, but the pasta and sauce was weak and had a bit of a plastic flavor. On another plate (fish taco with rice pilaf), the fish was very good but the sauce was overly complex and confusing, the rice pilaf was basically inedible. On a third plate (country fried chicken), the chicken was good but the mashed potatoes and gravy also tasted of plastic. Perhaps in some cost-cutting / efficiency move the 99 chain has come to rely on microwaved food and canned sauces? From our seats we could clearly see into the kitchen where plastic pouches were being emptied onto plates before being served. We used to enjoy eating at another 99 Restaurant a long time ago up in central MA when our kids were young, the food was consistently very good back then; unfortunately this experience does not measure up with the past.

The floors and tables were absolutely filthy. The food was also overcooked and barely edible. The staff was wonderful, but the cleanliness and food were far from it.l

The 99 restaurant in Westerly is doing an amazing job during the pandemic serving clean, fresh food. I visited the place couple times lately and every time they surprise me with their quality, fast service and the most important the safety from COVID-19. Keep it up!

we have picked a couple of local restaurants to support during covid by getting weekly take out.We have done curbside with 99 several times in the last few months and the quality of the food is inconsistent but never worth calling to complain about.This week i was missing a margarita i ordered and paid for plus my meal was just all wrong.I called right away and spoke with jen. Did i want to drive 8 miles to get my missing drink?No thanks Then i spoke with Juan next.He offered a refund for the bad meal and missing drink two days later,no refund Bad food and poor customer service will have us going to another local restaurant for our weekly take out
